Return Policy

Customers are entitled to the exchange or refund of unsatisfactory products for a period of 60 days from the date of shipment. Please include a copy of the shipping summary and a note describing the reason for your return.

The presence of clouds in an image does not meet the definition for an unsatisfactory product. Returns and exchanges based on this reason will not be accepted.

Cloud cover is the percentage of a scene that is obscured by clouds and their shadows. Percent cloud cover is estimated from the browse image, which does not represent all bands. This can result in clouds or haze becoming visible when viewing the bands not represented in the browse image. Haze is sometimes difficult to detect. When it is visible in the browse image, it is included in the cloud cover estimate. In order to confirm acceptable cloud cover impacts, users are encouraged to preview the browse images prior to ordering data products. The image shown on this page represents cloud cover of over 20 percent.

*An unsatisfactory product is defined as one mistakenly provided by the USGS or considered unusable because of defects caused by the USGS.
